Party and Event Crew
For NDIS participants · Paid supported employment · Fridays and Saturdays
Party and event crew get ESports Collective ready for birthday parties and private events, keep things running while the party is on, and pack down after. Shifts start from 3pm on Fridays and from 12pm on Saturdays, booked around the party calendar.
Real work, shaped around you
Our Supported Work Program is genuine paid work, with support built in - for NDIS participants who are ready to build work skills, routine and confidence in a place they already know and love. We work alongside you at every step, at your own pace, and over time many participants take on more responsibility and build toward more independent employment.
Before the event you set up tables, chairs and the drinks table, put up decorations and banners, prep the lolly cups, turn on and check the PCs, consoles or sim rigs being used, and set out cups, drinks and anything else on the booking.
During the event you welcome guests and show them where things are, top up drinks and lolly cups, clear away plates and rubbish as you go, and help the host keep the party on time, for example by letting people know when it's time for food or cake. You keep the space tidy and let the host know if something needs fixing.
After the event you pack away decorations and return them to the right cupboard, clear away any food parents have brought in, empty bins, wipe tables and sweep the floor, then turn off equipment and reset the space for the next session.
This role is delivered through our Supported Work Program. Your wages are paid by the business. Your support on shift is funded through your NDIS plan. They're two separate things.
