Dungeons & Dragons
Weekly D&D in Bairnsdale, East Gippsland
Weekly tables for primary schoolers, high schoolers and adults at our Macleod Street hub. All experience levels welcome - membership from $15 a week, or drop in casually.
A weekly table-top adventure
Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a co-operative storytelling game played around a table. One player, the Dungeon Master, guides the adventure, and everyone else plays a character in the story - making decisions, solving problems together and rolling dice to see how things play out. No screens, no experience needed, just imagination and a good crew.
Our community D&D is about bringing like-minded people together for the chance to do something different. Bairnsdale has plenty going for kids and young adults who love basketball or footy - this is for the ones where that's never quite been their thing. Around the table, week after week, they find their people.
Tables run weekly at ESports Collective on Macleod Street, Bairnsdale - an after-school table for primary schoolers, our established high school table, and new evening campaigns for adults. A regular crew comes along each week, with room to grow into more tables as more people step up. Become a member from $15 a week, or drop in casually.
All experience levels welcome - from never-rolled-a-dice to seasoned players who know every spell by heart.
A table for every age
An after-school table for primary schoolers who are curious about D&D. Gentle, beginner-friendly adventures with plenty of support to learn the ropes.
Our established after-school table for high schoolers. Ongoing campaigns and one-shot adventures for storytellers and strategists alike.
We are starting evening campaigns for adults. If you have always wanted a regular game but never had a crew to play with, this is your way in.
Not sure which table fits? Get in touch and we'll point you to the right crew.
A crew for every kind of player
People who love storytelling and strategy, and want a regular place to dig into a long-running adventure with the same crew each week.
Kids and adults looking for their thing, when basketball or footy never quite was. A weekly activity built on imagination instead of a scoreboard.
Anyone who's always been curious about D&D but never had a crew to try it with. No prep, no rulebook to memorise, just turn up and play.
Primary schoolers, high schoolers and adults each have their own table, so you're always playing with people at a similar stage.
If someone in your life lights up around fantasy, dice and a good story, this is for them.
Same time, same crew, real story
Weekly tables that fit your age
Tables run at the same time each week so you build a routine and see the same faces. Primary schoolers play Mondays at 4pm, high schoolers Tuesdays at 4pm, and adults in the new evening campaigns. A regular crew comes along, with room to grow into more tables as more people step up.
Tables grouped by age
Tables are grouped by age so you're always playing with people at a similar stage. Your Dungeon Master keeps the story moving and makes sure the quieter players get their moment too.
Step into the Dungeon Master seat
For players who want to take it further, we mentor those interested in becoming a Dungeon Master - running their own table, building their own world, and shaping the story for others.
Pick your way to play
There are two ways to play D&D at ESports Collective: become a member to hold your seat in an ongoing campaign, or drop in casually when there's room. Either way, there's a place for you.
Paid monthly, your $15 a week holds your seat in an ongoing campaign and includes 3 hours of gaming time. It works out cheaper than casual, with no cash to sort at the door.
Not here every week? Drop in for $20 cash on the day whenever there's a seat free. Your table might run a campaign or one-shot adventures - the call sits with your Dungeon Master each week.
Campaigns need the same players back consistently, so if you want a guaranteed spot in an ongoing story, membership is the way in.
Sessions can suit social, communication and confidence goals, with funding mapped flexibly to the plan.
