Frequently asked questions

Questions about working here

Do I need qualifications or experience to work here?
For most support roles, no formal qualifications. Lived experience of neurodivergence or disability, a love of games and the right attitude matter most. A valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check are required for every role working with our clients, and we can help you arrange them. Some roles may also need, or lead to, a Cert III.
What hours and employment type do your roles offer?
It's flexible. Most roles start casual and can move to part-time as we grow, and we work the hours around you where we can.
Where are the roles based?
At our Bairnsdale hub on Macleod Street, out in the community across East Gippsland, and at events.
What is the Supported Work Role, and who is it for?
It's genuine paid supported employment for NDIS participants, delivered through our Supported Work Program and funded through your plan. We build a real role around your interests and work alongside you at every step. No résumé or interview needed to start the conversation.
Do you offer traineeships or volunteer pathways?
Yes. Our Bytes and Biscuits digital mentoring program and supported work experience are real pathways into paid roles, and we take on trainees as we grow.
Do you hire allied health professionals?
Our allied health supports, like speech pathology and occupational therapy, are delivered through Gippsland Care Collective, our network partner. Those roles are advertised and employed there, and for allied health it's your professional training that matters rather than lived experience. Head to the Gippsland Care Collective careers page to see what's open.
