The hard part of the day is over

Where the school day comes down

After School Club is our NDIS after school program, run from our purpose-built gaming facility on Macleod Street, Bairnsdale. School can take everything a kid has, so the hours straight after the bell are exactly when a low-pressure, interest-led space does the most good.

It's the same idea behind Social Circle, our social sessions, but shaped for school-age kids and slotted into the after-school window. Shared interests are the motivation: they're what gets a kid to walk in, relax, and start talking to the person next to them.

School asks a lot of these kids all day. After School Club is where they get to just be one of the group.

Who it's for

Who is After School Club made for?

Primary and secondary students who want somewhere low-pressure to land after school, led by their interests rather than a clipboard - especially neurodivergent kids (autism, ADHD, anxiety and more) who do better with structure, routine and shared interests.

It suits any kid with social or communication goals in their plan who'd rather work on them somewhere that doesn't feel like therapy, and the ones who hold it together all day and need a safe, familiar place to decompress before heading home. If your child finds normal after-school settings overwhelming but lights up around gaming, this is for them.

How it works

Small groups, peer support, real connection

Sessions run in the after-school window on weekdays during term. There are different groups for different ages and interests - talk to us about days and times and we'll find the right slot.

01

Support workers who actually get it

Our team knows gaming and they know disability support. Their job is to facilitate: keep conversations going, help with regulation when a kid arrives wound up from the school day, pull in the quieter ones, and notice the wins that matter.

02

A decompress first, structure second

Sessions start with room to land and unwind, then ease into the games and group activity. It's a calm transition out of the school day, not another demand stacked on top of it.

03

Private and predictable

Sessions run privately so the space stays safe and predictable while kids find their feet - with everything mapping back to something meaningful in their plan.
