Allied Health Support in Bairnsdale
NDIS allied health for kids, teens and young adults in East Gippsland
At ESports Collective, allied health doesn't happen in a clinic waiting room. It happens in a space kids, teenagers and young adults already know, trust and enjoy - making therapy more engaging, more effective, and far more likely to stick.

A one-stop NDIS support hub in East Gippsland
Many young people we support are doing virtual school, have recently left school, or are navigating the gap between education and adult life. For a long time, the supports available in school - speech pathology, counselling, daily living support and employment preparation - simply vanished once school ended. We're changing that.
ESports Collective is building toward becoming the place in East Gippsland where young people access the support they need, without going somewhere new every time. Allied health is a critical part of that vision.
For participants already joining us for Social Circle, the Skills Workshop or Supported Work, adding allied health isn't a new appointment at a new location with a new person. It's the next layer of support, in the same place, with a connected team that already knows them. We're not there yet - but we're building it deliberately, one support at a time.

Therapy that meets young people where they are
Allied health in East Gippsland has historically meant long waitlists and a clinic that doesn't quite fit. Our allied health practitioners work through Gippsland Care Collective alongside the broader ESports Collective team - bringing clinical expertise into our facility, into schools, and into community settings across East Gippsland, wherever support works best.
Sessions can be clinical and structured, or naturalistic and embedded in everyday activities. Our environment supports both approaches, adapting to what each client needs most.
Therapy that doesn't stop when the session does
Our practitioners and support workers operate as one team. Strategies developed in a therapy session don't stay in the therapy room - familiar staff carry them into weekly programs, in a space the participant already knows. For families who have watched hard-won skills disappear the moment an appointment ends, this is a fundamentally different approach.
Allied health questions we hear most
What families ask about allied health at the hub.
What allied health supports does ESports Collective offer?
Allied health at ESports Collective is delivered through Gippsland Care Collective from our Bairnsdale hub, with practitioners working alongside our support team - in our facility, in schools, and in community settings across East Gippsland. Get in touch for the current practitioner availability.
How is allied health here different from a clinic?
Sessions happen in a space young people already know and enjoy, and our practitioners and support workers operate as one team - so therapy strategies are carried into weekly programs by familiar staff rather than staying in the therapy room.
Can my child see a practitioner without joining other programs?
Yes - though the model works best when allied health layers onto programs the participant already attends, because the same team reinforces the same strategies across the week. We'll talk through what makes sense for your situation.
How is allied health funded?
Allied health supports are typically funded under Capacity Building categories in an NDIS plan, depending on the participant's goals. We'll help you and your support coordinator work out the right fit.
