Can young people from Sale access ESports Collective?
Yes - young people from Sale attend ESports Collective, with transport to and from our Bairnsdale hub arranged as part of their supports. Sale is about 50 minutes up the Princes Highway, and it's our most travelled run.
There's no dedicated gaming-based NDIS program in Sale itself, and for a lot of Wellington Shire families that's been the missing piece - a place where a young person's interest in gaming, Minecraft or Dungeons and Dragons is the starting point for support rather than something to be managed. That place exists, it's just in Bairnsdale, and we can get you here.
Our NDIS programs run through Gippsland Care Collective and include Social Circle groups, 1:1 skill development, supported work and allied health.

How does transport from Sale work?
Transport from Sale runs straight up the Princes Highway - about 50 minutes door to door. A support worker can travel with the participant, and because Sale, Maffra and Stratford sit on the same run, pickups are often shared, which keeps things practical for everyone.
The trip itself counts. One-on-one time in the car with a peer support worker is often where a young person opens up about how the session went. Read more about how transport works, or get in touch and we'll map out a Sale arrangement together.

Wellington Shire families don't drive 50 minutes for something ordinary. Here's what they tell us keeps them coming back.
Interest-based support that actually lands
When support starts from what a young person already loves - gaming, D&D, tech - engagement stops being the battle. That's the whole model.
A team with lived experience
Our support and peer support workers are neurodivergent or have close lived experience of disability. Young people notice the difference fast.
A space that isn't clinical
High-end PCs, consoles, sim racing and tabletop in a real gaming venue. It doesn't feel like a service, because it isn't run like one.
One trip, real outcomes
Social skills, communication, confidence and independence - built through something your young person would choose to do anyway.
